strengths/abilities:
As a half-Cetra, Aerith’s connection with the planet is strong enough to where she can communicate with it, from listening to spirits to guiding the lifestream. She is a healer at heart, possessing the ability to heal the wounds of others. As she traveled and strengthened her connection and insight, her abilities in the art also increased. Aerith also has a natural gift with flowers as well, and she can grow them in the most bleak environments.

appearance:
Much like her name, Aerith's appearance has an earthlike quality to it. She isn't particularly tall, a little on the short side, standing at 5'3", and gives a somewhat dainty impression. However, if one were to spend a little while with her, they would discover that her passion, willingness to get her hands dirty, and...ability to use blunt objects if it had to come down to it, makes up for that.

Thick, overgrown auburn bangs brush across her cheeks, framing a delicate face with fae-like features. Other than the two locks of curls that reach her collarbone, Aerith usually keeps the majority of her hair tied up with a bow into a braid, as it is very long and thick, going a little past her waist. Emerald is probably the most accurate color to describe her almond-shaped eyes, as they are at times almost unearthly bright, varying in appearance from green to aqua. Overall, With a healthy, somewhat sunwarmed complexion, Aerith keeps her appearance fairly natural, with normally no makeup. She commonly has a small smile on her face, though the expression can vary as much as her feelings.

Aerith's style is very feminine and flowy, yet simple and practical enough for her line of work. Often, she'll be caught in pastels, colors which give the impression of a flower, or at the very least someone who appreciates them. She tries to pick outfits that are simple, but flatter her curvy figure. Sundresses or skirts that go down past her knees, bows, bangles (particularly silver ones), ribbons, and the occasional half-jacket are common in her wardrobe. An interesting quirk of hers is her lack of preference in shoes. Normally, Aerith can be seen wearing a worn-down, mud-colored pair of oversized boots, as she doesn't see the need to have many new ones and feels she expresses her feminity enough otherwise.

personality:
First and foremost, Aerith is a sincere girl. So sincere, in fact, that her open, genuine behavior often overshadows her other qualities. For when Aerith feels playful, she'll be playful. She'll hope, for herself and others, looking to the future to laugh at the present. Often, this will get her confused for being naïve, even though she has her own worlds experience, she merely has an optimistic spirit and refuses to idle. Aerith may have a bright, teasing side, but when it comes down to it she is very intuitive to the feelings of those around her, and wishes to help them in whatever way possible.

As said before, Aerith is very honest with her emotions. So, when she is happy, she'll try to brighten others up, when she's flirty she'll act it. On the rare occasions she's angry, she isn't afraid to show it, and when she feels down...she tends to become more withdrawn. Despite how open she can be, Aerith can be fairly reserved. As the last of her kind, with different abilities and values, Aerith doesn't always fit in. Also, she never had a lot of outside interaction since she tried to avoid it in order to avoid ShinRa, and that feeling's always stuck with her even though she holds a selfless compassion toward the world as a whole and has a thirst to see it all.

Finally, Aerith is resolute and adventurous. She has her moments of fear, but her emotional strength and hope for the best provides her with an iron will, leaving her capable of challenging the most trying of times...facing it with a tranquil smile.
